Canon PowerShot A560 - My First Ever Camera
Canon PowerShot A560, bought it about 15,000 Philippine peso. But then I sell it after 1 week because I don’t like the design. But on the other hand, the features are great. It has 7 megapixel sensor and 4x optical zoom lens. It also has the face detection feature. But then I sell it to my friend just because I wanted a different design.
Here are some other features of Canon PowerShot A560
• Higher maximum ISO in which the sensitivity reaches up to ISO 1600
• Upgraded Digic III processor chip
• 35mm-to-140mm equivalent 4x zoom which gives it more range than the 3x zoom lenses
• 2.5-inch LCD screen with the viewfinder that can be used for shooting in dim light or tight quarters
• 7.1 Megapixel, 1/2.5 inch type Charge Coupled Device (CCD)
• Normal focusing range: 1.5 ft./45cm-infinity
• Macro focusing range: 2.0 in.-1.5 ft./5-45cm (WIDE), 1.1-1.5 ft./33-45cm (TELE)
• Viewfinder monitor: Real-image optical zoom viewfinder
• LCD monitor: 2.5 inch amorphous silicon TFT color LCD
• LCD Pixels: Approx. 115,000 pixels
• Maximum aperture: f/2.6 (W) - f/5.5 (T)
• Shutter Speed: 15-1/2000 sec.
• Flash range: Normal: 1.5-11 ft./45cm-3.5m (W), 1.5-7.2 ft./45cm-2.2m (T)
• Macro Flash range: Macro: 1.0-1.5 ft./30-45cm (W), 1.1-1.5 ft./33-45cm (T) (when sensitivity is set to ISO Auto)

The Macro Shot - Glasswing Butterfly
Take a look at these glasswing butterflies. You will notice that the butterfly is focused than the background. See the distribution of colors, from right here you can see that the camera feature used is the macro mode.

The macro photography can be compared to looking on a subject through the magnifying glass. On the other hand, if we are talking about macro mode on a digital camera, we are referring to the possibility to get a very close shot on our subject. In using the macro mode, there are few things to consider like the focus which is very critical because you’re goal is to get close to your subject. In this case, the subject and the camera should be parallel to each other and a small aperture should be used. The shutter speed would be somewhat slow so you may need your tripod. In-camera flash should be avoided because its light is usually too harsh and will cause overexposure. You may sort to using some form of natural lightning.

My Own Photography
Ever wonder how people have their breath taking photographs? Well, the secret is, they are on the right place, at the right time and they’ve got good cameras with them. I myself have a passion with photography. Before, I was longing to have a high end digital camera… fortunately I’ve got one now. Not that very high end like what professional photographers have. Mine is a cool camera from canon. It’s a bit expensive but once you’ve got it, you would want to take every picture and every piece and give in with the art of photography. Take a look at some of the photographs I took when we had our company outing at Batangas. If you want to see other pictures visit my multiply account
